Finance Business Partner (Operations)

Humdinger, Bromborough (Wirral)

 

Join our team as a Finance Business Partner and play a crucial role in driving financial success for our snacking operations. You will lead all aspects of accounting, provide comprehensive business partnering support, and inspire a team of Finance Analysts and Cost Accountants. 

 

This role is Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 16:30 per day (37.5 hours per week) with hybrid working options. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of all operational financial results
  • Provide analytical insight and operational support to all operational functions
  • Continuously challenging performance and recommending corrective actions
  • Provide strong and rigorous financial leadership for all operational teams
  • Proactively manage risks, opportunities and budgeting accuracy
  • Ensuring the processes and systems within the finance team enable Zertus UK&I to face today and tomorrow’s challenges
  • Assist in running the Planning and Budgeting process for Zertus UK&I
  • Support and develop the financial integration of the business wide S&OP process
  • Team management and support.

Qualifications

Key Skills and Experience:

 

  • Experience within a manufacturing organisation (ideally food & drink) and an understanding of the inherent opportunities and challenges therein
  • Experience of multi-site operational footprint
  • Strong leadership ability and proven experience of building competencies in a finance team
  • Experience in senior financial management roles, working closely with and ability to influence senior executives
  • Good understanding of IT systems
  • Good understanding of supply chain
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, together with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written
  • Excellent analytical and reasoning skills
  • Open, collaborative style and the ability to roll sleeves up and get into the detail
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment
