Line Leader - £12.50 - £13.83
Machine Operative - £13.40 - £14.83
Machine Minder - £12.50 - £16.35
Mixing Operative - £11.59 - £12.25
Production Operatives - £11.44 - £12.25
Production (Packing/ Line) Operatives
As a Production Operative, you'll play a central role in our operations. Your main job will be to carefully prepare and pack our snacks into different types of packaging, like bags and cans. It's really important to pay close attention to detail to make sure each snack meets our high standards for quality and how it looks. You'll also help with getting the snacks ready to be sent out to our customers by stacking them on pallets. Your hard work and commitment will help us keep everything running smoothly and make sure our customers get their snacks on time.
Line Leaders
As a Line Leader, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring that our production lines operate at peak efficiency and performance. You'll need to pay close attention to detail and take proactive steps to make them even better. This means keeping an eye on how efficiently they're running and finding ways to improve them. You'll also need to make sure all the necessary paperwork is completed correctly. This paperwork helps us keep track of everything and make sure we're doing a great job. Your careful attention to detail will help us keep accurate records and maintain our reputation for being excellent. Quality is really important in making snacks, and you'll be the one who makes sure everything is up to our high standards. You'll do this by regularly checking the quality of our snacks and making sure they meet our strict guidelines.
Mixing Operatives/ FLT Drivers
As a Mixing Operative, you'll play a crucial role in making sure our production runs smoothly and meets our goals every day. Your main job will be to accurately prepare mixes, which are essential for our production plan to work well. You’ll need to lift heavy sacks weighing 25kg for mixing and stack products when necessary. Additionally, we're looking for qualified Forklift Truck (FLT) Drivers with a valid Reach Truck license for this area.
Machine Operatives
As a Machine Operative, your role is to ensure the successful execution of the production plan by accurately processing products using automated equipment to fulfill Work Order requirements. Your responsibilities extend beyond mere production, as you also play a crucial role in optimising the quality, safety, and efficiency of both the work area and the equipment you operate. Your ability to learn and master all aspects of the processing equipment is essential, as it enables you to adapt and provide full flexibility within your designated area. By continuously improving your skills and knowledge, you contribute to the overall effectiveness and smooth functioning of the production process.
Machine Minders
The role of a Machine Minder is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the snacking factory's packaging process. At Grade 1 and 2, the focus is on optimizing the performance of a single VFFS (Vertical Form Fill & Seal) bagging machine and multi-head filler. This involves closely monitoring the equipment, making adjustments as needed, and ensuring that production targets are met. By improving efficiencies and maintaining operational excellence, the Machine Minder plays a crucial role in the production line's success.
At Grade 3, the responsibilities expand to encompass the operation of all variations of VFFS bagging machines and multi-head fillers. This includes not only optimizing their performance but also being proficient in completing basic maintenance tasks. Additionally, at this level, the Machine Minder may also act as a deputy for the Area Leader, further underscoring their importance in overseeing the production area.
Overall, the Machine Minder's role is indispensable in maintaining the high standards of quality, efficiency, and productivity necessary for the snacking factory to meet its operational targets and deliver exceptional products to customers.
