Site Accountant (Operations) 

Humdinger, Bromborough (Wirral)

Humdinger are seeking a Site Accountant to join our snacking factory in Bromborough. At our snacking manufacturing site, you'll be at the heart of financial decision-making, ensuring that all daily, weekly, and monthly financial information is produced accurately and on time. With the support of the Finance Business Partner (Operations, Snacking), you will support the site with material and labour variance reports and much more.

This role is Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 16:30 per day (37.5 hours per week). 

• Reporting & understanding of Material Variance
• Reporting & understanding of Labour Variance
• Reporting & understanding of Operational Overheads
• Provide analytical insight and operational support to all operational functions
• Inventory Accounting reporting
• Play an active role in month end processes to ensure period end accounts are closed in a timely & accurate manner
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reforecasts
• Assist in running the Planning and Budgeting process
• Assist with year-end audit

• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• The ability to communicate effectively and build highly effective relationships with key cross functional personnel
• Excellent attention to detail 
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) and ERP systems.
• Experience within a manufacturing organisation (ideally food & drink) and an understanding of the inherent opportunities and challenges therein
