Compliance Coordinator
Humdinger, Bromborough
We are looking for someone to ensure compliance with site and external standards, including internal audits, non-conformances, iAuditor compliance, validation projects, and KPI reporting.
Position type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30
Pay range: £25,000 - £30,000 (Depending on experience)
Breaks: 30 minutes
Maintain and update all internal audits (GMP, Glass & Plastic, Fabrication) on the iAuditor system.
Ensure full GAP analysis is completed and implemented against relevant retailer codes of practice.
Keep retailer audit templates (e.g., Tesco, Waitrose, M&S) and BRC templates current in iAuditor.
Manage the internal non-conformance system via iAuditor, including data downloads, weekly reports, and trend analysis by area/type.
Identify and report trends, providing root cause and preventative actions for high-risk or recurring issues.
Ensure timely closure of all actions and issues, and present data in relevant meetings.
Maintain and manage the internal audit schedule, ensuring completion and compliance with risk assessments, BRC, and retailer standards.
Provide internal audit training and ensure auditor independence.
Maintain and develop the iAuditor system, including updates for new/existing SKUs and transitioning to a paperless system.
Complete site heat mapping validations for fryers and ovens.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and attend technical meetings to present KPI data.
Generate and report monthly KPI data, including QFSI dashboards and taste panel results.
Track and analyse taste panel trends and compare with customer complaints.
Deliver site-specific projects as assigned.
Create and update SOPs for new or updated equipment to ensure compliance.
Proven experience in internal auditing, ideally within a food manufacturing environment
Strong background in food production, with a minimum of Food Hygiene Level 2 certification
Solid understanding of Customer Codes of Practice (e.g., retailer requirements)
Confident in working with external auditors, with the ability to manage expectations effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the business
Competent in using computer systems and digital audit platforms (e.g., iAuditor)
Highly organised and capable of working to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
