Machine Operative

Humdinger, Heckington, NG34 9JH

 

We're seeking skilled Machine Operatives who are hard working with strong communication skills and the ability to meet manufacturing deadlines within a team environment. You will have worked in an FMCG/ Food Manufacturing environment previously with proven experience working with machinery.

 

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 36

Shift Pattern: Monday - Saturday, 3 on 4 off, 06:00 - 18:00

Pay range: £14.17 - £15.17 /hour 

Breaks: 3 x 20 minutes paid 

Responsibilities

  • To assist in the safe, efficient and accurate running of the factory machine such as industrial roasting/ frying machines. 
  • Complete process control checks on machinery. 
  • Complete various paperwork accurately and neatly.
  • Report breakdowns, working with the Engineering team.
  • Liaise with the quality teams and supervisors regarding any anomalies found whilst operating equipment.
  • Ensure the safety, legality and good standards of the production facility.

Qualifications

  • An understanding of food safety - prior training such as Food Safety Level 2 will be beneficial, however, you will also receive this training via Humdinger 
  • Machinery experience
  • Good oral and written communication skills are required 
  • Experience within a factory environment such as Production Operative; Line Leader; Machine Operative; General Operative; Machine Minder; Line Technician
