Warehouse Operative

Humdinger, Heckington NG34 9JH

 

Position Type: Full time, permanent 

Hours: 40 

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00 (Rotating Weekly)

Pay range: £12.71/hour (salary equivalent: £26,436.80)

Breaks: 2 x 20 minutes paid

Responsibilities

  • Operate a reach truck to move pallets to and from racking, using a handheld scanner to track all movements.
  • Ensure accurate placement and scanning of pallets in designated locations.
  • Deliver pallets required for production/ dispatch.
  • Loading and unloading lorries.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and equipment by following a "clean as you go" policy.

Qualifications

  • Reach truck license - essential
  • Warehouse Operative experience - essential
  • A good understanding of Stock Management
  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance, regulatory requirements, housekeeping and health and safety.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good written and communications skills.
  • Administration and clerical skills and PC literate including being able to work computer system to produce pick lists (training will be given).
  • Solid record of attention to detail and strict adherence to procedures.
  • Ideally have experience of using PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) (training may be given).
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace
